Current EOC Activation Status:

Alert

During Alert Status students spend approximately 2-hours per day preparing for an activation and closely monitoring a situation or disaster unfolding. Alert status is not always guaranteed so the students use this time wisely as it has so far always led to a full activation.

*** Normal Operations ***

During Normal Operations students monitor world events, track weather, and monitor geological events daily. The students are ready to activate their EOC at a moments notice to support emergency operations.

Activated

During Activated Status students stop all shop work and focus on the disaster at hand. They provide real-time intelligence and open-source assistance to deployed federal medical assistance teams. Their work is anything but "high school" and they are committed to actually helping in the response effort.
