As we evolve and grow our curriculum, we have decided that sophomores, while "unique humanoids," are certainly capable of handling the science behind forensic chemicals. This sophomore class is the first to get to play with all of the chemicals we have. They did impressive work and now have a firm understanding of the numerous chemicals available to investigators but more importantly, the understanding of how the scientific process relates to forensics. How confident do you feel in your forensic processing ability?! How confident would you be to test your only piece of evidence without practicing on a sample piece first? Is it worth taking that chance?
At the same time, they experienced their "CJPS Right-of-Passage" stuck in a surveillance van for hours. Fun cycle!
