The National Guard's 14th Civil Support Team visits CJPS

CJPS was fortunate enough to be visited by Connecticut's Civil Support Team. This elite unit trains every day for the unthinkable and assists the State in response to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear incidents. They are heavily trained and extremely well equipped. The students, as well as instructors, were amazed at their training and preparedness. If there is an incident in the State of Connecticut that has any of these factors, this team is likely already on scene and assisting with the testing, clean-up, and mitigation. It was a very impressive presentation and we are planning on some joint exercises in the future!
